Model Information
1914-1922
The year 1914 also saw the 25-50 model come onto the market. It provided an in-between size for maximum selection options. Originally selling at $2,300, the price dropped as low as $2,190 during its production run which ended in 1922. It was then replaced by an improved 25-50 model. Weight was 12,500 pounds. The Kingston carburetor and K-W magneto were usual equipment. Just like the 12-25, it had a 6 1/2 x 7 inch engine, but carried four cylinders instead of two. Two 12-25 hp engines were put side by side with each other on a platform to create the 25-50 sliding engine used in the 25-50 model tractor. Rated power was delivered at 700 RPM. The entire engine is mounted on a plank that when slid back, moves the tractor forward, when moved forward it caused the tractor to move backwards.
