Tractor Info

1913

In an effort to capture some of the tractor trade, Huffman Gas Engine Company announced the 70 horsepower Master Huffman tractor in 1913. A two-cylinder power plant was used, and a close look indicates that a separate exhaust came from each cylinder — duals in 1913! This tractor featured two forward and two reverse speeds of two and five miles per hour. The rear wheels bear a great resemblance to those used on Geiser steam traction engines.
