When production of this tractor began they were contemplating electric start, this tractor was then aviable with or without it. The LA was offered on steel as late as 1949. Visable beneth the PTO was the hydraulic unit which could be added upon special order. Production of this tractor continued until 1953 when it was replaced by the Case 500 diesel.
