Tractor Info

1940-1954

In the period ending in 1952, Harvester offered an extensive line of Industrial tractors based on then-current agricultural models. During this time, IH Industrial tractors differed little from their agricultural counterparts, thus losing much of their significance as a separate product line. The 1944 creation of a Construction Equipment Division served to further separate the two product lines. Industrial models of this period included the 1-4,1-6, ID-6, 1-9, and ID-9. Basic specifications are the same as for the “W” series farm tractors.
