Tractor Info

1943

The Huber Manufacturing Company of Marion, Ohio, built only seven more farm tractors after this one (then they concentrated on industrial equipment for World War II). Most of the last Huber tractors went to Pan American Airways, thus the red color, huge lights and starter, and original-equipment rubber tires that were almost impossible to come by during the heart of the war. But “HK”s proved to be more powerful, and slower, than Pan Am needed, so they bought smaller, more-nimble tricycle Huber “B”s instead. Just 441 “HK”s were built, and only a few red ones.
