In the mid-range class, Deutz offers the D 6206 and D 6806 models, with 60 and 68 horsepower respectively. These tractors are powered by the Deutz F4L 912 air-cooled diesel engine. Direct fuel injection and an efficient coldstarting device assure quick starting, even in extremely cold weather. A Deutz engine reaches operating temperature in less than two minutes, saving time and fuel. Head gaskets are not needed or used, except on the turbocharged models.
