Model Information
1918
The Wallis Cub initiated unit frame design. In 1915, the
job was completed by enclosing the final drives. The
Model J or Cub Junior embodied all this, and did it
somewhat ahead of Ford’s claim to the first totally enclosed
unit frame tractor. With a 13-25 horsepower rating, the
Cub Junior used a Wallis-built four cylinder 4 1/2 x 5 3/4 inch
motor. Two forward speeds were provided, and Hyatt
roller bearings were used throughout. Canadian Fairbanks
Company began selling the Wallis tractors in 1918.
