Tractor Info

1917

A very nice-looking tractor called the “Boyer Four” was built by the Huron people in 1917. Rated as a 12-25, it used a Waukesha four-cylinder 4 1/4 x 5 3/4 inch engine, topped off with a Kingston carburetor and the immensely popular K-W high-tension magneto. For several years, K-W magneto ignition was considered to be the “ top of the line”. Apparently, the Huron company gave up the venture in short order since the tractor does not appear in the directory listings after 1917.
