The MF 97 was a standard tread tractor manufactured by Minneapolis-Moline. It was based on the Minneapolis-Moline G705 (2WD) and G706 (4WD). It was available with a Minneapolis-Moline 8.3L six-cylinder diesel or Minneapolis-Moline 8.3L six-cylinder LP gas 4×2 2WD or 4×4 MFWD 4WD engine. It had bull gear final drives, disc brakes, five-speed gear transmission with an optional cab.
