The MF 88 was a standard-tread tractor that was the western/wheatland version of the Massey 85. It had a fixed tread front axle and full fenders and lacked a three-point hitch. It was available with a Continental 4.0L four-cylinder gasoline engine, a continental 4.5L four-cylinder diesel engine, or a Continental 4.0L four-cylinder LP gas engine, all 4×2 2WD. It had power steering, dry disc brakes, an eight-speed gear transmission, and an open operator station.
