Model Information
1958-1960
The first sixty-three Model 840 tractors were assembled by Hancock, with the basic tractor steering parts, and other small things being supplied by Deere. Failure to produce the tractors fast enough, low-quality control, and extra shipping required led to the end of production for Hancock. The tractors built when Deere took over are known as the New Style.
