Model Information
1937 - 1948
The Oliver 80 Standard was another variation of the basic Oliver 80 design. This tractor model used a heavy-duty engine having a 298 ci displacement. The crankshaft was 2 3/8 inches in diameter and operated in three large main bearings. The crank was drilled for full pressure lubrication of all main and connecting rod bearings. Power was delivered through a big 12-inch clutch and finally emerged through heavy 2 3/4 inch heat-treated rear axles. An adjustable radiator shutter was furnished as optional equipment. Oliver concurrently built the “35” Industrial tractor; it was similar in design and construction to the Oliver 80 HC model. However, the “35” was available in various combinations of travel speeds, wheel, and tire equipment, all for industrial use.
