Versatile announced their Series 2 tractors in 1976. This series included all past models, the 700, 800, 850, and 900, with a new addition – the Model 750. The engines remained the same as before, with no change in horsepower ratings. The 750 was announced with an 855 cubic inch in-line six cylinder Cummins diesel engine. Heavy duty hydraulics, a 75 ampere alternator, and a 24,000 BTU air conditioner are among the standard features on the Series 2 tractors. Options include a no-spin differential and a Category III three-point hitch.
