The 720 was the largest two-cylinder tractor to be offered by Deere and the most powerful row crop tractor of that time. This model was considered one of the most fuel-efficient tractors of its time. This model was able to use a variety of non-gasoline burnable byproducts widely available at that time and much cheaper than gasoline.
