1976-1981

IH Series 86 tractors feature six different models, ranging from 66 to 161.5 PTO horsepower. The 686 with 66 horsepower is at the bottom of the line. It is nearly identical to the International Harvester 666, it was just renamed when the 86 series came about. There was a major change in 1979 when the 312 diesel was replaced by the 310. It was available with an International Harvester 5.1L six-cylinder diesel or 4.8L six-cylinder gasoline engine.
