The Oliver 66 was tested in Nebraska in June 1949. Results appear in Test No. 412. This little tractor delivered 21 drawbars and nearly 25 belt horsepower. The rated speed for the 66 was 1,600 rpm, and its six forward speeds ranged from 2 1/2 to 11 1/2 mph. When furnished with dual front wheels as shown here, plus the PTO shaft, belt pulley, and Hydra-Lectric lift system, this tractor was priced at about $1,810. Numerous options were of course, available at additional cost.
