Tractor Info

1958-1963

Successor to the Farmall 350 series, the 460 was a row crop tractor that was part of the line of medium tractors originating with the Farmall H. It was rated for three plows but had a larger six-cylinder, 55 horsepower gas, or LP gas engine. A diesel version was also available. It had several variants including the IH 460 utility tractor, and a hiboy model called the 460 Hi-Clear. There was also an IH460 Wheatland offered for non-row crop farming as well as an orchard and a lowered IH 460 grove version for fruit and citrus growers.
