Model Information
1956-1958
With approximately 40 belt horsepower, the Farmall 350 was an ideal unit for running the ensilage blower or hauling loaded wagons to the silo. A crank-operated leveling device is visible on the Fast-Hitch arm. The belt-driven blower was eventually replaced with PTO- driven models. The International 350 Utility tractor was the ideal chore tractor, especially when equipped with a hydraulic loader. This model could be furnished in gasoline, LP-gas, or diesel engine styles, and featured an adjustable front axle in addition to the optional power-adjusted rear wheels of some models. Many northern farmers equipped these loaders with a wide snow bucket for their own snow removal operations. Unrestricted visibility was a cardinal feature of the Farmall 350 tractors. The operator had no trouble watching cornrows on either side of the tractor. By the late 1950s, IH cultivators had been redesigned for easy attachment or removal. This was a major improvement over the heavyweight styles of earlier years which required two men and a boy to mount and detach.
