Tractor Info

1967-1968

The Knudson model 220 was the first tractor Jerome Knudson built. When Jerome began building his tractors the comfort of the cab was one of his top priorities. When constructing the cab for this tractor he started by building it as a completely separate structurer. He wanted to compose a cab that offered a comfortable and quieter ride to help reduce his fatigue therefor leading to a longer work day. He designed the seat with larger arm rest, mounted the cab with rubber mounts to reduce noise and vibrations, and he evener designed the cab to be over six and a half feet tall inside allowing the farmer to stand completely up and stretch when needed.
