Model Information
1968-1969
Oliver 2150 tractors were built during the same 1968- 69 period as the 2050 model. Both used a White-designed Hercules diesel engine. However, the 2150 was turbocharged, while the 2050 was naturally aspirated. This raised the power level to 131 Certified PTO Horsepower. Due to the higher power level, the 2150 used a 14-inch clutch, compared to a 13-inch clutch on the 2050. Curiously, Oliver offered this model with the choice of a standard bull-gear final drive or planetaries on the ends of the rear axles. The Over/Under Hydraul-Shift system was optional, but it provided three forward speeds for each gear. This tractor was tested at Nebraska under No. 986. As a Row-Crop, it was listed at about $13,250. The four-wheel-drive version sold for $14,700, and the 2150 was also available with an ’extra heavy duty’ four-wheel-drive configuration at $16,250.
