A big 478 ci naturally aspirated engine was used in the Oliver 2050 tractor. Rated at 2,400 rpm, Oliver certified this engine at 118 PTO horsepower. Row-Crop, Wheatland, and Ricefield versions were available, and within these, all were available with two-wheel or four-wheel-drive systems. Dual rear wheels were available as a factory option, while the planetary final drives came as part of the 2050 design. Built between 1968 and 1969, the 2050 Row-Crop sold for about $12,500, while the 2050 Wheatland model was listed at $12,300. However, the 2050 Row-Crop with four-wheel-drive carried a price tag of $14,000. This tractor was tested at Nebraska under No. 987.
