Model Information
1914-1919
MTM introduced a 20-40 model in 1914. It used a four cylinder
5 3/4 x 7 inch engine. Like all Minneapolis models at
this time, the engine was built in the MTM shops. The
20-40 was 96 inches wide, 167 inches long, and 110 inches
high. Drive wheels were 20 inches wide and 66 inches in
diameter. While the 40-80 had a valve-in-head engine, the
20-40 used an L-head motor with the cylinders cast
separately.
