Model Information
1914-1915
By 1912, Knapp’s tractor had roughly assumed the design that would be followed through the rest of production. The two-cylinder engine of earlier models was replaced with a four-cylinder cross-mounted motor. The open spoked wheels of earlier models had filled up with dirt and mud. This was solved by using a drive drum with enclosed heads. Trouble some bevel gears in the transmission were replaced with an in-line drive of spur gears and roller
chains.
