Tractor Info

1964 - 1969

Oliver built the 1650 in a high-clearance design; it provided over three feet of clearance under both the front and rear axles. The front axle had a width adjustment ranging from 65 to 89 inches. Both the gasoline and diesel models of the 1650 were sent to Nebraska’s Tractor Test Laboratory in November 1964. The results appear in Test No. 873 for the diesel model and No. 874 for the gasoline style. Both tests saw a PTO output of slightly over 66 horsepower, and as previously noted, under the Certified Horsepower plan, no 1650 was shipped until it had developed at least 66 PTO horsepower coming off the assembly line.
