Tractor Info

1916-1924

The La Crosse Tractor Company was the result of a merger between Happy Farmer Company and the Sta-rite Engine Company. The newly formed company continued using the original Happy Farmer 3 wheel design. The 2-cylinder engine utilized an original 5 ball Kingston carburetor and a Fairbanks magneto for ignition. One unique aspect of the Happy Farmer design was the use of the tractor frame as its muffler.
