To date, Versatile has built only one copy of the gigantic
1080. With eight drive wheels, the 1080 should be able to
move almost any load. Its future success probably hinges
on the design of implements matched to its capacity. The
1080 was one of the most talked about tractors at the Farm
Progress Show held near Washington, Iowa in 1977.
