Hume’s tractor was characterized by extremely large rear wheels, 72 inches in diameter, and used a single front steering wheel. In 1916, they listed this tractor as a 20-30 model. A Hume Jr. was also offered in 1916 with a 12-18 HP rating.
Hume advertised their tractor as early as 1915. The Hume does not appear in the 1918 directory listings, being bought out by Lyons-Atlas Company in Indianapolis, Indiana Within a few months this firm was taken over by Midwest Engine Company of the same city.
