Originally the Corbitt Automobile Company they were known for their heavy trucks, but they eventually ventured into the farm tractor industry. The Company was based in Henderson, North Carolina.
The Corbitt Company began in 1913 but tractor production did not begin until 1948. In 1952 the company went out of business when the founder Richard Corbitt retired. The company had a short revival period in 1956 and 1957 and the tractors made a short appearance once again.
