The Versatile 950 used Cummins constant power engines. These engines maintain their rated nominal engine brake horsepower, even though the RPM’s drop. Direct injection provides better performance and economy. In the cab, everything is within easy reach — from the hydraulic controls to the air conditioner and radio. In addition to the options and features on previous models, the 1978 tractors offer a 1,000 RPM independent live PTO shaft.
