Eventually, H. M. Wallis, a relative, became president of the Plow Works. Wallis also had an active interest in the Wallis Tractor Company, the firm that produced the Wallis Bear in 1902. Information on this model is limited and often conflicting. It was manufactured in Cleveland, Ohio, and Racine, Wisconsin. It had a Wallis 17.4L four-cylinder gasoline engine or a Wallis 24.3L four cylinder gasoline engine. It was a 3×2 2WD with mechanical power assist steering, three-speed gear transmission, and an open operator station with an optional canopy.
