Model Information
1918-1919
A four-cylinder 40-80 model was introduced by MTM in
late 1912. This 22,500 pound outfit used a four-cylinder 7 1/4
x 9 inch engine, and retained the same chain steering as
used on the steamers. This model was built until the end
of tractor production, but was re-rated downward as a
35-70 in 1920. Although this model used a cellular radiator,
it nevertheless had a coolant capacity of 50 gallons.
