1961-1968

Succeeding the 340, the 404 was a medium-sized row crop tractor with options for gasoline or LP gas fuel. It was the first Farmall of its size to use a three-point hitch, and the steering used a hydrostatic power system. The International Harvester IH 404 was the utility version and the IH 2404 was the industrial version.
