Keck-Gonnerman Co.

Keck-Gonnerman steam engines, threshers, and sawmills were well known when the company entered the gas tractor business in 1917. A small 12-24 tractor, later rated as a 15-30, was built for several years, and followed the same general lines of the heavily built tractors of the day. In fact, the 15-30 had almost a family resemblance to the Aultman-Taylor. Keck-Gonnerman Co. was located in Mt. Vernon Indiana.

John and Louis Keck, along with Louis Gonnerman established the Keck-Gonnerman Company in 1873. A bold step was taken with the 1928 announcement of a new and modern line of tractors. Keck-Gonnerman continued in the tractor business until World War II when production was suspended for the duration. After the war, Kay-Gee closed its doors for good.
