Tractor Info

1916-

Gile offered their Model K Crawler tractor in 1916. It used a two-cylinder engine with a 6-inch bore and 6 1/2-inch stroke. Accessories included a Dixie magneto, Bennett air cleaner, and Bennett carburetor. The Model K had a 2,700-pound drawbar pull, and carried a 12-24 horsepower rating. Two large rollers supported the track with two smaller carrier rollers over the top. Stearns Motor Company eventually took over the Gile operations.
