Tractor Info

1918

Cushman sold gas engines by the thousands, particularly their 4-horsepower binder engine. Their efforts in the tractor business were rather feeble in the United States. In Canada, it was a different story. The Macdonald tractor was aggressively promoted by Cushman about 1918. Rated as a 12-24, it used a four-cylinder 4 3/4 x 6-inch engine and weighed 5,900 pounds.
