Prior to 1917, the Four Wheel Tractor Company was formed in Clintonville. During that year the name was changed to Topp-Stewart Tractor Company, and about 1927 there was another change to Atlas Engineering Company. D. S. Stewart designed these four-wheel drive tractors. He was also involved with several other tractor builders, among them the Antigo Tractor Company. The model illustrated here had a 30-45 horsepower rating.
