1909-1910
The Adams-Farnham Company was incorporated in Minneapolis, Minnesota on July 1, 1909. Incorporators were P.W. and G.L. Farnham, both of North Dakota, and H. W. Adams of Minneapolis. The company built steam engine ‘governors, feed water regulators, gasoline engines, and tractors. The tractor, built only in 1909 and 1910, was a three-wheeled affair with two large drive wheels and a single front steering wheel. Weight was 10,550 pounds. By 1911, Adams-Farnham’s company had broken up. Harry W. Adams went on to become general manager of the Common Sense Tractor Company in 1915.
