Model Information
1919
Essex started out in 1919 with a two-cylinder 10-20 model. By 1920, the engine was changed to a Waukesha four-cylinder motor, along with an increase to a 12-20 rating. Except for the change from the two to four-cylinder motors, only minor revisions occurred during the entire production run. Before production ended in the mid-1920s, the tractor was again re-rated to 15 drawbar and 30 brake horsepower and sold for $1,600.
