Model Information
1928-1930
First hit production in 1928 and is the smallest of the super powered Oilpulls, part of the super-light weight class of Oilpulls. Although it was the smallest produced it was still a very powerful tractor. It had the ability to pull three 14-inch moldboard plows under average conditions.
The 20-30 “ W” could be optionally equipped with a power-takeoff drive. A belt-drive was used to a cross-shaft mounted beneath the engine. It terminated in a right-angle gear box which carried the final PTO drive at 540 rpm to the rear of the tractor. The fuel tank situated behind the radiator was partitioned so as to offer a capacity of 26 gallons of kerosene fuel and 23 gallons of water for use in the fuel mixture. A rear view of the 25-40 illustrates the roomy platform and rather uncomfortable seating arrangement. The tractor shown here carries the earlier air cleaner system found on the 20-30. Production of the 25-40 ran from 1928 to 1930.
