The Imperial tractor was built as late as 1920. Rated at 40 drawbar and 70 brake horsepower, the Imperial weighed 10 1/2 tons. It used a four-cylinder horizontal opposed engine with a 7 1/2 inch bore and 9-inch stroke. The 1920 list price was $4,500. Imperial tractors were built under U.S. Patent 1,070,362 issued to Valentine Bros. Company, the predecessor of Imperial.
