Tractor Info

1942-1954

The MV was built by International Harvester as a high clearance gasoline tractor. The V stood for vegetables as these tractors were factory built by International Harvester for use with high crops like sugarcane. These tractors gained several inches of crop clearance by using rear drop-drive axle housing and an arched front axle with larger front wheels. The engines and transmissions were the same as the standard Farmall M. These tractors were built from 1942 to 1954 and would cost a farmer around $2,400 US dollars. There were only 1,674 MV’s built during their years of production.
