Model Information
1916-1922
Wallis abandoned the three-wheel design in the 1919
Model K. An air cleaner stack appeared for the first time,
but the overall design changed very little from the Cub
Junior. It seemed that Wallis always had a problem with
the belt pulley. The Cub tried it on the back of the tractor,
while the Cub Junior and its successors squeezed it between
the frame and the left rear wheel — a spot that was
almost impossible when hanging on a 7-inch belt. It was
tough to run the belt off this drive pulley, and if it
somehow managed to slip off between the pulley and the
drive wheel, there was nothing to do but go into town and
buy a new belt.
