IH Series 86 tractors feature six different models, ranging from 66 to 161.5 PTO horsepower. The 686 with 66 horsepower is at the bottom of the line, followed by the 786 models, now out of production. The 886 is on the cur­rent market, followed by the 105 horsepower 986 and the 131 horsepower 1086. At the top of the line stands the 145 horsepower 1486, followed by the big 1586 with 161.5 PTO horsepower. All “86” models are similar in appearance, with physical size being the only major difference.
