In production from 1942 to 1947 the Ford 2N wasone of their Utility tractors and was apart of the N series. This tractor was powered by a Ford 2.0L 4 cylinder gasoline engine and was originally priced at $1,120. This tractor had a 4×2 2WD chassis, manual steering, a 3-speed transmission, and differential mechanical drum brakes. The 2N was a variation of the 9N which was introduced due to World War II. Due to wartime shortages the 2N had some compent changes such as the battery and alternator being eliminated. They were replaced with a magneto and a hand-crank start.
