The 2444 Lo-Boy was partially manufactured in Doncaster, England, and the final assembly in Louisville Kentucky. It was basically a 2444 industrial with slightly lowered smaller diameter wheels, These low profile tractors, called LCG (low center of gravity) or turf tractors with small diameter, wide tires were mostly used for gold course maintenance, highway mowing, and some orchard work. They were available with a C-153 four-cylinder gasoline engine or a BD-154 four-cylinder diesel engine.
