The 2424 was partially manufactured in Doncaster, England, and the final assembly in Louisville Kentucky. It was the heavy-duty industrial variation of the 424 utility tractor. Some of the standard equipment was made optional. It was available with a C-146 four-cylinder gasoline engine or a BD-154 four-cylinder diesel engine.
