Model Information
1965 - 1967
Oliver 1950 tractors, especially those with the four-wheel-drive option, were used to some extent for construction work. Up to this time, the crawler tractor was virtually sacrosanct as the ultimate dirt mover. Yet, the development of large wheel tractors was a distinct advantage, since rubber tires could shorten the hauling time considerably. For the contractor, saving time also saved money. Large tractors like the 1950 also required a substantial braking system, and this was secured through the use of triple-disc brakes
