Model Information
1965 - 1967
The Oliver 1950 was available with a mechanical four-wheel-drive system, or an optional hydraulically operated front-wheel-assist. Oliver’s advertising brochures of the period indicate that the four-wheel-drive option was available for field installation, as well as on direct factory order. The 1950 Diesel Wheatland tractor sold at $11,250 with a two-wheel drive, but this price jumped to $14,700 with the four-wheel-drive option. Presumably, the hydraulically operated version was somewhat more expensive.
