Tractor Info

1928-

The original 5 x 6-inch engine in the 14-28 was modified slightly in order to provide the 16-30 rating for this 1928 model. Known as the Model CA, it was considered to be a three-plow tractor. An unusual feature of the engine was the five-bearing crankshaft — something seldom seen in a four-cylinder engine, regardless of the builder. A 1927 EWC catalog states that the 16-30 weighed 5,200 pounds and sold at $1,395.
