Columbus Tractor Company resulted from the 1918 reorganization of the McIntyre Tractor Company of Columbus, Ohio. McIntyre had started out in a big way with the “Farmer Boy” tractor, a combination tractor cultivator. Columbus stayed in the market for only a short time.
